Denny Hamlin was on fire in Sunday’s Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway, taking the race lead out of the pits during the final late-race caution then besting the field on the ensuing restart, pulling his No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota out front and ultimately to a 0.597-second victory.
William Byron finished second, Christopher Bell third, Chase Elliott eighth and Ty Gibbs ninth; all Alpinestars drivers.
