The GP Force V2 Leather Jacket is a fully CE-certified riding garment to EN17092 – AA class. It comes with Nucleon Flex Plus Level 1 shoulder protectors, Nucleon PLASMA Plus Level 1 elbow protectors, and GP Lite Evo DFS (Dynamic Friction Shield) external shoulder sliders for added abrasion management.
Is the GP Force V2 Leather Jacket waterproof for rain riding?
No. The GP Force V2 does not include a waterproof membrane and features zippered side vents for airflow. It does have a waterproof inner pocket to protect small essentials, but for sustained rain we recommend a dedicated waterproof over-jacket or rain layer.
Which Tech-Air airbag systems are compatible with the GP Force V2?
The jacket is Tech-Air Ready and accommodates airbag expansion through its stretch and accordion panels. It is compatible with Alpinestars’ Tech-Air 5 Plasma System, Tech-Air 5 System, and Tech-Air 3 V2 System.
Does the GP Force V2 come with back and chest protection?
Impact armor is included at the shoulders and elbows. The chassis has compartments for Alpinestars divided chest protectors and a back protector insert (long or regular), available separately as accessory upgrades.
How does the GP Force V2 fit, and how should I choose my size?
This is a sport fit jacket with pre-curved sleeves, HRSF stretch zones, and waist adjusters for an on-bike riding posture. Choose your usual EU leather jacket size and consult the Alpinestars size guide; if wearing a Tech-Air system, ensure adequate room for airbag inflation.
